The first time we got off the water bus at Giardini stop we were overwhelmed by the beauty of the spring blossom around us and by the stunning view of the Grand Canal and S. Marco cathedral in front of us. The narrow calli with their colourful clothes hanging to dry in the sun and the music of the local dialect were like magic and … at once we felt at home.
Apartment description
CoZy House is a typical Venetian two-storey terraced house recently refurbished and fully equipped, with a private courtyard, ground floor with beam ceiling, first floor with Venetian marble flooring. On the ground floor you'll find the living area with a couch (pull out double bed) and a smart TV as well as a dining table which can accomodate up to 6 people. The living room is connected to a fully equipped open kitchen giving on a small courtyard, a perfect place to have breakfast or enjoy a Venetian 'Spritz' (the classic Venetian long drink) and relax. On the ground floor you will also find a toilet and a bathroom with bathtub. A staircase leads to the first floor with a double bedroom, a twin bedroom with en-suite shower, a small toilet. A very steep staircase leads to the attic where you'll find a book corner and some board games for children.

The nearest water bus (‘vaporetto’) stop at 350m from the house is Giardini served by lines # 1, 2, 4.1, 4.2, 5.1, 5.2, 6, 8. If you wish to take a breathtaking cruise along the Grand Canal in the very heart of Venice get on the water bus #1 to Piazzale Roma. If you are headed to the Lido beaches or the International Film Festival get on the water bus #1 to Lido (opposite direction).

If you’re flying to Venice you have two options to get to CoZy House:
bus to Piazzale Roma (25 mins)
water bus ('vaporetto') to Giardini stop; line #6 (20 mins), line #1 (55 mins)
350 mt by foot (4 mins)
from Marco Polo Airport you can reach Piazzale Roma in about 25 min by bus taking ACTV bus line #5 (public transportation) running every 15 min. The one-way ticket is 8 € and can be purchased in the Arrivals area;
from Piazzale Roma docks you can take ACTV water bus line #6 (the fastest) to reach Giardini stop in about 20 min or line #1 for a lovely cruise along the Grand Canal (it will take about 55 min to get to Giardini stop but it will be worth it). The water bus ticket is 7.5 € and can be purchased directly on board or on-line ahead of time;
from Giardini stop you’ll be at CoZy House in no time (just 4 min walk).

water bus Alilaguna to Arsenale stop (1h 10 mins)
900 mt by foot (11 mins)
from Marco Polo Airport you can reach Arsenale stop in about 1 hour and 10 mins by water bus Alilaguna Red Line running every 30 mins/ 1 hour. Alilaguna is the name of the boat company running from the airport to the city of Venice (public transportation). The one-way ticket is 15 € and can be purchased in the arrival area and the dock is about a ten-minute walk from the airport.
from Arsenale stop you’ll be at Cozy House in 11 mins by foot.
Reach us by train
If you are travelling to Venice by train:
water bus ('vaporetto') to Giardini stop: line #5.1 (30 mins) or line#1 (50 mins)
350 mt by foot (4 mins)
from Santa Lucia railway station you can take ACTV water bus (‘vaporetto’) line #5.1 (faster) from Ferrovia dock C to reach Giardini stop in 30 min or line #1 (slower) from Ferrovia dock B to reach Giardini stop in 50 min. Water bus #1 takes longer to get to Giardini but the path up the Grand Canal is awesome and offers spectacular views (it will be worth it!).
