Description
CoZy House Corniglia is two-storey apartment plus roof terrace set in an ancient traditional house looking over a gothic church dated 1300 on one side and the amazing Cinque Terre coastline on the other.
The ‘vertical’ layout of the apartment truly reflects the ‘vertical’ shape of the Cinque Terre landscape but once up the stairs all your efforts will be rewarded by a spectacular view.
Two flights of stairs lead to the apartment recently renovated with modern amenities and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. The original layout and the typical slate staircase tell the story of this old traditional house.
The entrance door opens on a dressing room with a walk-in wardrobe leading to the sleeping area with a twin-bedded room connected to a double bedroom.
A cozy open plan full of light welcomes you up the slate staircase: a fully equipped open kitchen/cooking area facing a dining table with a spectacular view of the village over the deep blue see, and a sitting area with a comfy couch and a smart TV opening on a charming balcony overlooking the ancient St. Peter’s church.
From the living room you have access to a full bathroom with shower and to a slate staircase leading to the roof terrace. This place is amazing: you can lie in the sun or enjoy a glass of local wine at sunset with a breathtaking view of the sea and the Cinque Terre coastline stretching from Monterosso to Manarola.

Location
Our CoZy House is located in the village of Corniglia, in the middle of the 5-terre National Park and Marine Protected Area, right on the trail path connecting Corniglia with Manarola and Vernazza.
Corniglia is a timeless hamlet made of pastel hued homes perched on a cliff about 100 meters high, where the steep wild ladscape meets the clear blue sea. Wild nature and local history make this place a unique environment where man and nature have lived in harmony for ages. The whole village is a pedestrian area, the view is breathtaking and the place very relaxing. While strolling in the village especially late in the afternoon when the day-trip tourists have left you can feel the genuine charm of this enchanted place a million miles from city life.
Hikers and divers will no doubt be thrilled about this unique environment. Down a stairway from the village you can easily reach the sea: no beach but rocks and clear water for those who love swimming and snorkeling in the Marine Protected Area.

Getting to CoZy House
Corniglia is not easy to access by car as there is just one long winding road, very steep and narrow connecting the 5 terre villages. Moreover, in summer time it is quite hard to find where to park as the parking places are very few and the parking fee is rather expensive in Corniglia.
Much better to reach Corniglia by train: the 5 terre express train connecting La Spezia to Levanto and stopping at each of the 5 villages runs very frequently like a shuttle service (train fee for a single ride is 4 euro). From Corniglia railway station you can esily take the minibus up to the village. Please note bus tickets cannot be purchased on board. Bus tickets can only be purchased at the railway station ticket office where you can also buy tourist cards for tansportation and hiking paths (5 terre cards). If you have light lugguage or a backpack you can easily reach the village on foot in about 15 minutes by taking the Lardarina stairway, 382 steps easy to climb.
