Imagine a lovely summer evening in the very heart of a charming Italian city of art: a warm breeze and the soft light of a sunny day slowly fading away. An elegant restaurant table in the open air. I’m offered a glass of Prosecco, a perfect way to start a fine dining experience. Excellent wine, well balanced, with a fruity, vaguelý aromatic flavour and a fragrance suggesting acacia flowers and wisteria, what a sommelier much more qualified than me would say. A thought comes to my mind … this could be a perfect welcome gift for our guests, to make them taste a delicious product of the Italian expertise. I ask the wine brand name: Cà Salina is what I’m told. Out of curiosity I decide to google the brand name: their motto is ‘Gaudium hospitis’, the joy of the guest, which perfectly matches our CoZitaly philosophy.To finally make up my mind though I need to go and meet the winery owner and have a look at the place myself. In front of me the Cà Salina winery house, standing atop a hill in the heart of the Valdobbiadene DOCG area, added to UNESCO World Heritage site list in 2019, around me the green hillsides embroidered with vineyards. Everywhere I can see love and care for the environment: even the Cà Salina winery, built inside the hillside, merges with landscape so as not to spoil the natural beauty of the place. I taste the Prosecco ranges of wines again and I have no doubt: this Prosecco will be the one for our guests.
